Anambra Schoolgirl Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, the student who claimed to have come top in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with 362 aggregate has denied forging her results.

Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, who spoke in a trending video posted on various twitter accounts and other social media platforms, said that she was traumatized by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) media sponsorship against her, that she forged her UTME results.

JAMB said on Sunday, in a statement that it would withdraw the result of Miss Ejikeme Mmesoma for manually inflating her result and announcing herself as the top scorer for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

The board claimed that Mmesoma used her manually inflated score to attract a N3 million scholarship from Chief Innocent Chukwuma and was set to be honoured by the Anambra State government before she was exposed.

But reacting to the JAMB’s forgery claims, Mmesoma vehemently denied the forgery claim, insisting that she printed the results from the JAMB Portal.

Ejikeme stated this while speaking in a video shared on Twitter on Monday. She said,

“My name is Ejikeme Mmesoma. I’m the owner of this result. I went to the JAMB portal to print this result and this is the result they gave me. This is my aggregate, 362. This is exactly how I printed and downloaded it from that site. So they are now saying I forged my result, which I don’t know and I am traumatized that they accused me of forging my own results because I’m not capable of forging my result. This is the evidence. They said I forged my result, they scanned this QR code and it showed another name, a Yoruba name, Omotola Afolabi, I38 and that same person that got 138, they checked again the person got 338 meaning that there is a problem somewhere.”

Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma continued by saying that she was interrogated by the Department of State Service, but JAMB failed to wait for DSS investigation before accusing her of forging results.
