A source has disclosed that the president of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari the honour of presenting a ministerial nominee from Katsina State.
Muhammadu Buhari, who left office on the 29th of May, 2023 hails from Daura, Katsina State.
According to Nigerian Tribune paper, the source disclosed that “Tinubu, it was learnt, gave Buhari the honour of presenting a nominee from Katsina State. The former president is said to have sent a name to his successor”
It is expected the President Bola Tinubu will send the names of the ministerial nominees to the Senate in the next 30 days as stipulated by law.
President Bola Tinubu was sworn-in as the 16th President of the federal republic of Nigeria few weeks ago after defeating other strong contenders to clinch the apex political seat in the country.
