Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has said that he hopes the Igbo people can set aside their differences over who should be president.

He stated that the issue of Igbo presidency has been brought for discussion on different occasions and they have come to the conclusion that they should forget about it.

In an exclusive interview with the Sun paper, Iwuanyanwu reflected on his three failed bids for the presidency of Nigeria.

Speaking on his goal as the new head of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Iwuanyanwu says, is to see Igboland completely revamped.

He claimed that he still loved his nation in spite of the election’s outcomes.

Hear him “We Have Talked About Igbo Presidency Several Times & We Have Decided To Forget About It. As president-general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, I have determined that we should forget about the Igbo presidency. In spite of everything I still love Nigeria. We have discussed it at length, and have ultimately decided to drop the subject. ” Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu told Sun paper.
