Nigerian street-pop artist Portable has unveiled a new look, shaving off his signature hair and issuing a public apology to Fuji legend Saheed Osupa. This gesture follows his recent release from the Oke Kura Correctional Centre in Ilorin, where he was held over allegations including defamation and cyberstalking, stemming from a petition by Osupa’s management.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Portable expressed remorse for his actions, stating:
“Alhamdulilahi for everything. Big thanks to all my lovers. ZAZUU, I’m sorry for everything. If I did you bad, may God forgive me. To those out there praying for me, you won’t fall. Only God, I never see. God sent, God love me. I love you all. ZAZUU.”
The singer’s shaved head has sparked discussions among fans, with many interpreting it as a sign of humility and a fresh start.
