Bishop of the Ondo Diocese, Rev Bishop Jude Arogundade, announced the reopening of the church at this year’s Chrism mass as part of the Easter celebration. Since the attack, the church has remained closed for security reasons and out of respect for the victims.

The Bishop confirmed that the Ondo State government is also planning to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the attack to honor the fallen heroes.
