President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lauded Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo for his visionary leadership and infrastructural strides during a recent visit to the state. Describing Soludo as a “visionary and competent leader,” Tinubu expressed admiration for the governor’s commitment to Anambra’s development. He stated, “I am honoured to be here. I commend my friend, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, who is a visionary and competent leader for the work he has been doing in Anambra State.”
Tinubu assured that the federal government would support Soludo’s vision of making Anambra a peaceful, secure, and prosperous homeland for all Nigerians, regardless of tribal, ethnic, or religious affiliations. He emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration, saying, “Our diversity must lead to prosperity; we must work together.”
In recognition of his contributions, Tinubu was conferred with the chieftaincy title “Dike si mba Anambra,” meaning “warrior from the diaspora,” by the traditional rulers of the state.
Governor Soludo, in turn, praised President Tinubu’s economic reforms and expressed commitment to working collaboratively with the federal government to address challenges such as erosion and infrastructure development in Anambra State.
