Again, armed thugs attack Lagos PDP gov candidate, Olajide Adediran’s convoy (Videos)
Armed political thugs, on Friday, January 27, attacked the convoy of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Lagos state, Olajide Adediran, in Aguda, Surulere area of the state.

A resident of the state, who posted a video clip of the incident on Twitter, noted that, “I called my friends who live in Surulere, and they told me that thugs from the All Progressive Congress (APC) attacked Adediran’s convoy first.
“They created barricades on the way and threw stones at his convoy.
“In defense of their principal, Adediran’s supporters and security officials retaliated,” he added.
Recall that Adediran’s convoy was also attacked by hoodlums on Wednesday, January 25, in the Ikosi-Isheri area of the state, while another attack occurred the same day on Oworo road in the Oworosonki area.
According to sources, the hoodlums threw stones and other dangerous objects at the campaign team.
Similar attacks have also occurred in Badagry, Agege, and Ikorodu areas of the state since Adediran began his tour of the state’s 245 wards on October 19, 2022, according to Within Nigeria.
Funke Akindele, Adediran’s running mate, was also chased out of the Kosofe fruit market on Tuesday, January 24.
The PDP publicity director of Lagos state, Hakeem Amode, while speaking on the development, noted that the attacks were not good for the country’s democracy.
